Tying a Horse using a Bank Robber Knot – Tying a Bowline Knot – Rick Gore Horsemanship
www.thinklikeahorse.org – The link preceding this is a link to my tying a horse page on my site, where I discuss knots and tying a horse. In this video I show a knot called the Bank-Robber Knot which is just another quick-release knot for tying horses. I like this knot and use it most since it unties easy with no loops or unwinding of ropes. I have seen too many horses get spooked and pull back when being untied and the twisting rope flies off and hits the horse or the person. This knot prevents this. I also briefly cover a Bowline knot which is a very useful knot and on my web page I have links that show how to tie a bowline and many other knots. Thanks again to Candace for coming out and volunteering her time, camera and filming skills to make this video.
